Stretching - Make sure you stretch well before you go for your run. I suggest running inside since the weather seems to be pretty cold lately.

23 minute run - this should be a fairly quick paced run. You should be well out of breath, and sweating.

Cool down - make sure you do not simply stop working out. Walk around for a bit after your run, then do another set of stretches to cool down.
